What I've been looking for.
This is the best tail animation script that I've used thus far. It's simple, straightforward, and very versatile. In addition to doing everything I need a tail animator to do, here's the two big thumbs up for me personally:
1) No need to wear the HUD at all times to continually animate; the script placed inside the tail performs every basic function independent of the HUD.
2) No click script on the tail, meaning you cannot click it to open the menu while actually wearing the tail on your avatar. Right click > touch on the tail is how I open the menu and I like it that way.
Thanks to the creator for making this, you did a great job of making it simple yet powerful and I've yet to discover any tail + deformer combination that it doesn't work well with.
Can't switch to other animations sadly
Got everything to work. It's nice 64 scripts usage, no lag there. Haven't fully tested it out. I get the boner tail mostly whenever my avatar sits down. I'll test it out after my avatar does something else like fishing.
The hud itself is nice and perfectly tiny. Only issue is if you want more than one animation, it will only do the first animation. None of the rest you placed in. And you don't have the choice to choose which one. You'll have go thru the whole entire process again.. In order to get the other animations on in your list.
I'll try out the basic AO setup tactic. Exp: When your avatar sits, the hud will tell the tail to move onto the tail wrap animation. If that don't work, oh well.
Idk
I keep getting script warnings saying "could not find animation" and I can't "put" any scripts in the HUD, I tried dragging and dropping to no avail. I don't know how I'm supposed to put a script into the HUD that's nothing but an icon for me.
Works on the Werewolf too!
Although the creator wasn't sure when she created the HUD, as a Jomo Werewolf (Bento/v3) AV owner, I can testify that it does indeed work for something other than the fox. A bit of a manual setup at first; but after that, it works flawlessly. Definitely solves the indicated glitch. Nice job, Maggie!
It works as it is supposed to! (im the second to buy this hud! Woot!) <3
when i first bought it, it had a few glitches, and the creator when i asked for assistance was very happy to help and she helped with out hesitation. we worked together and while i tested it and the creator handled the permissions and fixes, we, together, fixed and made this hud to work and function properly as well as preserved the ability to modify and copy it despite the SL glitch saying no modify when taken back into the inventory. so don't panic when it says no modify, you still can.
it does remove the "erect tail" glitch as many of you know it as. and i voluntarily helped, i do not seek for any compensation for my own kindness for helping her with this product. just know, that when i say it works properly and the wonderful creator there to fix the issues i found, that it does now officially properly work! and its well worth the cheap price in L$ for this fix. it truly does as it is supposed to do and its a great simple fix.
i tested it with additional animations in addition to the JOMO ones and it works as well with out issue. so yes, it can be used to run a select specific set of animations or the whole series or can simply use it to run a larger amount of animations in addition. as long as you put the name of the animation and the animation into the hud its self they'll work and play in the manner you set the hud to play them in random or sequential series. she was very helpful too. and a kind person. and great to work with as well! ^.^
