Why did we call this "Best Weather"? Because it's the best way to create the most realistic weather effect on SL.
Why was this system created?
Some real estate companies do not allow weather systems on commercial land for causing lag. I felt this was understandable but also something that needed to be worked around. The reason weather systems are not permitted for some is for the amount of lag caused by particle rezzers and the video lag created by the particles themselves. This system ONLY uses animated textures, producing a more realistic rain without causing server or video card handicaps.
As specified in the LSL scripting wiki - animated textures do not cause any lag.
WEATHER MODES - There are 3 modes for rain and 2 modes for snow plus thunder (with lightning) which can be turned on or off in each mode. Each mode uses a different realistic sound effect to match the rain. Puddles also are effect by which mode you choose to add realism.

CONTROLLERS
There are 3 options for controlling the rain for the owner by clicking on either:
1. Best Weather HUD - Gives Owner only usable menu.
2. Best Weather Umbrella Stand - gives Umbrella to any user and also acts as a controller for owner - others get an umbrella with no controls.
3. Best Weather Umbrella - Gives Owner only usable menu.
Features:
BEST WEATHER Rezzer is copyable and multiple rezzers will listen to commands from the owner all at once.
BEST WEATHER REZZER contains multiple prims for giving rain a surround sound effect while in the rain.
When rain is set to OFF....rezzer only uses 1 prim (7 prims when on).
BEST RAIN is NOT a weather system and does not use any particles - meaning it's lag free and will not bog down your video card.

It certainly lives up to it's name
If anything, the only complaint I have about this is that the rain falls down a little too slow to look realistic.

This is very realistic. You can adjust the rain to drizzle or downpour, and it puts splashes on the ground for added realism. It comes with sound effects, thunder if you want, and some umbrella stands which can help you turn on and off the systems. They all link so turning one off turns all of them off if you like. Or, you can wear a HUD. The only problem I have with it is figuring out how to link them altogether. One thing that doesn't work is copying and dragging one block from another. Rez each one. Did I mention that the umbrella stands also give you umbrellas? haha!

Parfait pour ma homestead, je peux choisir précisemment les endroits où je veux que la pluie tombe, c'est très réaliste et donne le parapluie à mes visiteurs s'ils veulent. Le prix est raisonnable s'il reste fixe à 500 ld. Je ne suis pas déçue.
