Binary Watch `B1`

The "B1" is the first binary watch in SL.
Unconventional, yes. Intriguing, indeed. But this cool futuristic looking watch is essentially a real working binary clock.

BINARY?
The idea of the binary clock is simple. Instead of displaying numbers in base 10 (which most people are used to), it uses binary (base 2) which only uses 1s and 0s.
Because there are only two digits, lights can be used in place of the digits. "On" signifies a 1 and "Off" means 0. Reading the clock is only a matter of converting the binary value to decimal.

The B1-watch-face contains coloured LEDs that are used to indicate the numbers of the binary sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32).
The values of the lighted LEDs are added to determine the time. There are three columns of LEDs - the left one for the hours, the middle one for minutes and the right column for the seconds.

READING THE TIME:
With a little practice you can learn to read this time format easily.

HOURS:
Example: in the picture, in the hour column, the three bottom lights are lit (4 + 2 + 1 = 7), so it is 7 o'clock. The hours on the watch can be written in binary as 0111 which is 7 in decimal.

Decode the minutes & seconds the same way as hours.

N.B.: The B1-watch shows the time in 12-hour display only.

Don't dwell on the math. All you need to do is remember what value each light represents.

OPTIONS:
When you click the B1-watch, a menu pops up with these options:

COLOR: There are 7 colors to choose from. All LEDs will have the chosen color, except when DEFAULT is chosen: then hours are red, minutes are blue en seconds are green. The blinking indicator will turn white. This is the default color combination.

SIZE: With this menu, you will be able to adjust the size of the B1-watch very accurate. When you are satisfied with the size, hit the QUIT-button to finish.

OFFSET: This menu will give you the option to add 0 up to 11 hours to the standard display-time, so the watch will show your local time instead of SL-time. To reset time, add 0 hours.

RESET: This will reset the watch completely.
