Pretty solid!
Having bought a ton of eyes previously, I settled on the FATE Oculi eyes for a while. Sadly those haven't had an update in quite a while, especially post-PBR, so I was on the market for something new. I looked at VOID's and I wasn't immediately sold on them. I'll leave a review on the full version after I post this (since I'm also looking through the effects lol).
Not to shame the one-star poster, I've a smaller shape with a Lelutka head and I'm not seeing any kind of 'bulging' out of the head. Without a picture of how said bulging looks (cause that could mean a lot of things), I can only assume it's probably shape related. But! For the folks that are struggling to get the eyes to fit;
• Make sure your eye sockets in your actual head shape isn't set to dramatic proportions
• Hide or move the effect layer since that can make it seem like it's 'bulging'.
• Make sure to use the Lelutka EvoX alpha layers (and hide the eye socket in the Lelutka HUD). The alpha layers I don't think help with bulging, but it does give you a better "window" for the eyes to "settle" into and edit the shape around that.
why are these popular?
seriously, how am I expected to use this when I cant make them actually fit my head in a realistic way? I cannot make them small enough via the hud, the eyes themselves are no mod, so I cannot resize them manually, and the best I can hope for makes them look like they are bulging out of my head. why not learn how to rig these, like normal head makers already do? it's almost 2024, why are you using old, broken resizing scripts like FateEyes? for a company who makes things that look great, you're really behind on your tech....
Highly Recommended
I bought this inworld but I wanted to leave a review so I'll do it here.
This is the best mesh eye system I've ever used. While they don't have the ultra customization of the iris color that some eyes have, they have plenty of customization features of their own. I just use the BOM setting for eye textures.
What sets these eyes apart is they just look absolutely fantastic. The shine, the eyeball mesh itself, everything. And the pupil can dynamically animate. They add so much life to an avatar.
I definitely recommend if you admire realism in avatars.
