Sure, it look good but there's a problem. The creator uses polygons instead of texture for every piece of hair... That's NOT a proper way to make a beard for Second Life. DO NOT BUY if you have older or weak PC.
You've got something here, but there are problems.
The attention to detail is amazing, when zoomed in to the avatar- I'll be honest, this beard can't be beat in terms of outright quality in comparison to others on the market. However, that likely painstaking attention to detail ends up becoming it's downfall in any other circumstance. The further you zoom away, the grainier the beard appears. It almost animates, as Second Life attempts to render each hair follicle. It can't be matched if you're a photographer looking to take a few manly close-ups. But, in terms of day-to-day use? Not recommended. I love the idea though, and I think if Triad somehow did a mixture between these strands and the standard blob- we'd have something truly amazing to make us manly men look the way we should. Props to the hard work, Fallen.
