Discovered near the village of Nebra, the Nebra sky disc, made of bronze and adorned with gold inlays, dates back to around 1600 BCE. It features celestial symbols such as the sun or full moon, a crescent moon, and a cluster of stars, including the Pleiades. This enigmatic relic hints at an advanced Bronze Age understanding of astronomy, predating other known depictions of the night sky by centuries.
