The HUD is all you need to wear to have a footprint trail. It drops temporary MESH PRIMS not particles! A manual diagram texture is included which outlines the basic usage of the HUD and how to customize the step of the footprint.

❯❯ Usage Optimization / Rezzing Issues and Troubleshooting

Due to the nature of this product, where rezzing is involved, there will be places where this product will not work. (Places where rezzing is not allowed) In that case, simply remove the HUD and re-wear it in a rez-friendly area. If you don't remove it, you'll get chat spam saying it can't rez the footprint for each step you take.

When on group land:

If you come into a sim with the HUD equipped, the HUD will not change groups unless you do and will not rez the fireprint prims until the group on the HUD matches the group for the land. To correct this, activate the correct group tag for the land you're on, remove the HUD and then re-wear it. You can change your group title after this and it should work until you leave and re-enter the sim/group area again.

In normal rez areas/most sandboxes, you should have no problem regardless of your group title.

❯❯ Prim Prints and Modding Them

NOTE: Modding these prints will require you to have a firm grasp on modding/building. This is strictly optional on your part. Please -do not- contact me to mod these for you. Get a friend to help you. I WILL NOT be held accountable for any issues you may have after altering this product.


In order to mod the print inside the HUD, you must be aware of these things:

• You CAN pull the print out of the HUD, into your inventory and rez it on the ground. It may say "no mod" but that is because of the scripts inside.
• It's name must remain "print".
• There is a kill script in the root prim of the print which controls the timer that deletes the prim after 20 seconds. You must disable this script. The entire print will disappear otherwise. (Pull the script from the object into your inventory, then delete it. Re-insert it later once your changes are done.)
• You must unclick "phantom" and "temporary" in the OBJECT edit menu. It will disappear otherwise. It must be set back to "phantom" and "temporary" before inserting back into the HUD. If you don't, your prims will stay in-world indefinitely and will cause a lot of clutter.

Super cool ! I got this thinking I could mod it to fit with my slime avatar , and it turned out perfect ! Though , the HUD by itself is very useful if you want to use your own footprints , too . ( ' ᴥ')

The texture and design of these are superb! They stay for a bit before disappearing and they are 3-D so it looks like a bloody footprint! Love it!
