The Botanical Seasonal Weather System allows you to add rain and snow effects to your environment for year-round weather enjoyment!
The system comes packaged as a HUD, from which you can easily rez several sizes of weather effects for easy and effective coverage of your land, precisely where you want it.
Weather effects include three levels of rain or snow severity and movement, as well as custom environmental sounds for each level. Available weather options are:
Clear (weather effects are hidden)
Light / Medium / Heavy Rain
Light / Medium / Heavy Snow
The sizes included should cover most typical use:
64x64x40 – 7 land impact. 64 meters to a side and 40 meters tall. Excellent filler for large low/no traffic areas.
20x20x40 – 1 land impact. 20 meters to a side and 40 meters tall. Great for medium size areas with higher traffic.
10x10x40 – 1 land impact. 10 meters to a side and 40 meters tall. A smaller size for more precise weather placement.
5x20x40 – 1 land impact. 5 meters wide, 20 meters long, 40 meters tall. Good for alleys and against buildings.
5x10x40 – 1 land impact. 5 meters wide, 10 meters long, 40 meters tall. A good option for surrounding smaller buildings.
Rezzing the controller on your property turns the HUD into a group accessible interface for partners and land managers to change the weather and also unlocks the ability for automatic timed weather changes.
Weather effects are also compatible with the Seasonals V2 controller, allowing you to change the weather from rain to snow as you are changing your landscape!

So this weather system is amazing, i recommend it to anyone that DOES NOT run a Business sim with rentals and tip jars, the weather is a phantom prim that won't let you click on rentals or tip jars!
WONDERFUL
I'm sitting here in RL looking out of the window and watching the snow falling gently... and it's AMAZING how realistic Kriss Lehman's Seasonal Weather System's snow actually is.
It took a little while to set up over a whole island dotted with buildings; and I've had to derezz the snow objects rather than just turn them off, now that my SL winter has ended, so that I can easily access and work with objects below or behind the snow objects. But this is a small matter; no worries.
Buy this system: it;s sooo good. You won't regret it!
Simply Stunning
If you want snow or rain buy this. I am very fussy about the environments i create and have tried many weather systems but this is the best i have found.
This does not use particle effects so it will not lag and use up your land particle count that might be needed for other effects.
It rezzes in blocks of rotating mesh sheets that can be stretched and moved around allowing for a perfect fit around buildings and the like. (no more rain or snow indoors).
If you have used particle snow you know you cannot have it snowing on your roof without indoor snow, well with this system just raise the weather areas accordingly to achieve this.
Want a whiteout blizzard or tropical downpour, double up the weather areas. At 1 prim per size its nothing.
Want a storm with rain or snow hammering in at an angle, rotate the weather areas.
I have an urban cityscape and now it rains in the narrow alleys and on the rooftops without entering the buildings.
Rez the hud on the ground and you have a nice control panel that a group can use.
One suggestion, Kriss make a rain on surface splashing effect and i will buy that as well. :)

looks real and works well, i think is the nicest one i have seen yet, though it snows inside of houses if not placed right outside of the house but i love how it works nonetheless.
Very good weather system for all types of land.
If you own a small piece of land with little prims, and have to customize where rain specifically needs to go... this is a very good system for that. The blocks of rain or snow you get can be stretched and moved. So nice! Everything looks and sounds so realistic! I also only had to use 4 prims for everything including the controller that I put next to my front door. With that said, I really wish there was thunder and lightening too...I was a little bummed when it didn't have that option. Also the directions need to be a little bit more informative. Both huds in the package can be put out on the land, but it wasn't explained anywhere except briefly in the market place a little which personally I didn't think explained enough. Overall a great weather system for anyone looking for something simple with low prims. I love it. Thank you so much. :)
