Unrigged version of the Slugfriend avatar kit! Old-school style. No bento or fitmesh here.
Intended for folks who want flexibility with any body at any avatar scale.
Included are 5 head stalk types with separate left and right models. Two styles of tail, and a stubby foot.
There are two head types - with and without lip. These have only the one tongue style unlike the Hoistbody version.
A collapsible/tintable HUD to change between 6 the mouth states, and an optional animation override for typing. It cycles through states randomly to simulate a moving mouth.
Included are links to a PSD package prepared with the UVs and some pre-seamed patterns like gradients and bands. That in mind, these come with no in-world textures.
Note - If you see a line down the center of the head or any object, I'm pretty this has to do with how Second Life approximates things at a distance. It might be inaccurate with the UV map to Texture Map positions, and is showing bits of the texture it shouldn't. You can combat this by increasing the "bleed" around the UV islands. AKA colour outside the UV islands a bit more than what I provided in the PSD files. I'm also told that saving images as JPEG, or anything that doesn't have an alpha channel can assist with this issue. So using JPEG where transparency isn't needed can be a quicker solution to this problem.
Apologies for this, I forgot how jank SL can be.

Versatile kit with a cute head!
Slug/snail avatars aren't supper common, so this was a must-have for me! The head is well-made and low in complexity for a multi-state head. The mouth movement when typing is pretty good. Using the PSD, the parts are pretty easy to texture!
very thankful
i couldnt for the life of me find any slug/snail parts, but this mod was perfect. i wanted to go for a somewhat chibi snail body, and this helped a lot. all the body parts were easy to stretch into what i wanted, but they were already really great!
it even comes with a tippy tappy object that you can attatch to your feet to make it more round/slug like, which was a huge thing for me. since i couldn't find that anywhere.
very good job, thank you
