Canis Bento Head

Yes! I decided to re-release it with this bento upgrade, you can still get the original unrigged version inworld, but to limit confusion I went ahead and removed it from MP. If you need the original, unrigged version, you can find it inworld. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lamp/52/203/25
But why isn't it a free update?
It's not free because it was a L O T of extra work, and redoing the entire head. Check the secondary images for side by side comparisons of the mesh. Not only was that overhauled, but, I also completely remeshed the inner mouth, added ears, and had to completely rig and fix a lot of other issues. I'd love to put it out for free, but I just can't afford to, I'm sorry! :C
Can I use my original canis textures?
Yes! Though, the mouth was overhauled, so, it might not look completely right. You'll probably end up with teeth hole shading inside the mouth but.
That's not a huge deal for most people. I would've liked to retain completely the same UVs but I had to overhaul the teeth so I could make the mouth anims look decent. Sorry for any inconvinience! :c

I was introduced to this head when I was looking at a fur that only used this head. I don't regret purchasing the head and the fur!
I love the fact I can have a blush across my nose and some tears if I need be. I can adjust eyes, jaw, and tongue which is actually really useful for roleplay purposes. I look forward to what might be next in the future! Keep up the great work :D.
So easy to work with, amazing head.
I love the animations for this, which are included. There's not just a "preset eye/mouth state" but actual movement and stuff! I originally got this head to make a PSD kit but love it now. This is possibly the easiest head I've worked with texture/UV wise and I can't be happier. Ange has made it so easy to work with, I highly recommend it for modders!!

This is a Bento head, which does exactly that a Bento had shall.
Having fix facial expressions and animated ones, to make it more lively.
The hud is easy to use (looks complicated at first glance, though).

The facial expressions are very well made. To be honest, this head is the most lively in appearance among all the furry heads I've tried. Can be angry, sad, happy and casual.
The creator is active on their discord, they will be grateful for reporting errors to them.
Had luck to report some and they fixed them in no time.

Wonderful canine head, with a lot of great little touches. Was fairly easy to mod, and it works surprisingly well with a lot of bento facial animations. The HUD can be a little touchy and the blink animation seems to bug now and then, but those are minor complaints. The biggest issue, for me, is the complexity level. This head comes in at about 49,000, which is pretty high and I'm a little OCD about trying to keep my av's complexity low to help with performance. If that's the cost of the head looking and animating as well as it does, though, so be it!

Alright, updating my previous review because I figured out it was definitely 100% user error on my part so I felt the need to revise my review to credit the creator properly.
I loved the non-bento version of this head, so the bento version was a must have for me. I'm impressed by the fact that the mapping is the exact same from the non-bento version. It was super easy and quick to mod because of that, especially with the .psds being provided.
The expressions are on point and it's kind of fascinating to watch the different features of the face change from one thing to the next. Very realistic and fun to play with. The hud is nice, and gives a crazy amount of options.
The last thing to point out is the fact that there's already been an update to it all. That really speaks to this creators work ethic and I'm extremely satisfied in seeing just that slight adjustment on their part to provide more that made it more user friendly and the like.
This beat my expectations and more. Keep up the amazing work.

I loved the old Canis head and love this one too! The style/shape is perfect and works really well with rigged hair. The animations are expressive and cute, with plenty of options.
Had a couple of issues with it yesterday and they were fixed overnight. Very impressed :D
