CATWA HEAD Catya [DEMO]

This is my favourite mesh head for sure and looks great with the Insol Mia skin and Victoria shape by {Lush} or Grace shape by {Lyrium}. Go to the inworld Insol store to try the demos and you can also buy mesh body appliers from there too to match the skin

But Is it the best head to look like Rihanna

But can't see how anything works.
It's bento so it supposedly has all the facial bones and it able to be animated, but the animations don't work with the demo so we can't see what makes this head any different from any other head.
I'm not about to spend 5000L$ before i can see what it does.

First up I need to confess that I'm coming from the point of view that I do not like the current generation of mesh heads in Second Life - I find them extremely ugly, no matter how beautifully made or how lovely the skin applied. That said - this head could well be a game changer. Bento allows for mesh heads to be customized in shape so we'll have less of the creepy, frozen, doll-faced girls all looking identical.

This is an extremely well made and well thought out product. It's very easy to use and customize and I found the HUD interface to be very intuitive with almost endless possibilities and options. I didn't bother getting any demo appliers for the head, but rather matched the skin "by eye" using the supplied HUD, and in under a minute was able to get a pretty seamless join between this head and my maitreya body. The neck rigging is pretty darn faultless too.

For giggles I logged into the current firestorm release wearing this head (the current release is NOT bento enabled) and be aware if you wear this before firestorm updates to bento then most folks will see you with your head in your belly and your eyeballs smeared down your body .. but on any bento enabled viewer it looks super.

For me the only downside, and the reason I most likely won't be buying this particular head, is that there was nothing I could do to get rid of the god awful "trout pout" with my lips sticking out from the front of my face - that's far too stylized for my personal taste, but if that's your thing then this head is absolutely perfect! Top marks to the creator for yet another fantastic product.

(Note for girls like me who are too lazy to read enclosed notecards: when you first put it on you WILL need to adjust your head shape considerably - that's just the way bento works)
