CCC - Land Forms - Core Collection Fatpack - PROMO Limited Time Version 1.0

Welcome to my series of Land Form collections, designed to be land impact-efficient while offering a greater variety of elevation profiles and better seaming between pieces. Where most land form kits contain only a couple of elevation options -- sometimes only one -- I've set out to create a series of land form collections that offer a wide variety of geometrically compatible elevation profiles that will free your creativity and allow you to build fantastic landscapes.

This is the Triangle (Corners) 32m Core Elevations Collection and focuses on a basic 32m triangle shaped into nine different interesting elevation variants. With this kit, you can make most of the essential land elevations such as hills, valleys, berms and fit them nicely into the corner of your land or other forms.

This set includes a gentle tapering treatment around the edges of each piece that helps join pieces without gaps, and prevents the flickering between pieces overlapping at their edges.

Naming conventions of individual pieces:
- The first segment indicates the base shape of the piece.
- Slope is indicated by either "rise" (upward) or "fall" (downward), with the numbers indicating vertical change over horizontal distance and then the direction of the slope. For instance, "rise.6x30.toEdge" indicates an upward slope of 6m over 30m distance rising to an edge.
- Special characteristics may be indicated last. For example, "tpr" indicates the edges are slightly tapered to help with joins.
- Land impact, as delivered, is indicated at the end. "3i" = 3 land impact.

While these pieces provide both flexibility and precision for compatibility with each other right out of the box, they are intended, of course, to be resized. I intentionally created these pieces larger in order to be more land impact-efficient. Typically, shrinking pieces will decrease LI while enlarging increases LI. By starting with larger pieces already optimized to reduce LI, you'll be able to cover a large area efficiently and still reduce pieces for finer fits.

* Pro tip: Always remember, once done resizing land forms, go back and re-scale your textures. This is one of the best tricks to creating great-looking joins.

Also note, while this collection provides great flexibility, it is meant to fill out your ground shape - use it alongside other landscaping objects like rocks, cliffs, rivers, falls, trees, mesh grasses, etc!

ABOUT TEXTURES
This collection does not include textures (future updates may). These pieces are intended for you to use your own seamless ground textures and designed to use a 1:1 texture scaling ratio out of the box, regardless of the dimensions of the piece. If you stretch a piece in one direction, you should be able to do a little math and determine your H & V texture scaling numbers. Alternatively, of course, just eyeball.

WHY LAND FORMS
If you're new to land forms, you may be asking why use them instead of terraforming the SL land. Here are some of the big considerations:
- Many land parcels do not let you terraform but land forms are usually permissible.
- Even if you do have terraform permission, rented parcels don't provide access to the land textures. Land forms allow you to choose your textures.
- You can't go through SL system land, you can't make a hole in it or create a tunnel or drop through (gracefully) underwater. With land forms, you can create any topology you wish, including entrances to cave systems and underwater access.
- Terraforming is a learned skill with a steep learning curve. The process of assembling land using land forms and other landscaping objects actually can be easier and will inspire your creativity.
