The CD Spinner allows you to store inventory in categorized groups, with only 3 prims!
About:
======
The CD Spinner is a new evolution on inventory storage devices. Most storage boxes are very simple; you pick through a list of inventory, and then take the item you want. But they waste through a lot of prims, because you need a new box for every category (and most boxes are several prims to begin with). The CD Spinner works differently; instead of each new box holding a separate category of items, the Spinner holds an unlimited number of CDs, and each CD works as a new category for holding inventory. So you can have a separate CD for, say, winter & summer clothing, or scripts & buildings, or anything you can imagine!
* Only 3-4 prims (and less if you're not worried about it being decorative!) to store a virtually limitless amount of inventory
* CD-based system keeps everything categorized how you choose
* Simple dialog-based and drag & drop operation
* Full CD renaming and customization tools
* Many customizable options to make the Spinner your own
* Free upgrades for life!
Issues With the Device:
=======================
While I realize the device is a bit cumbersome to use, unfortunately this is due much in part to limitations of SL. I know that gets said all the time, mostly as a cop-out, but it is true. For instance, the CDs not being able to go into the spinner is because there is no ability for an item to give itself.

YOU ARE A HERO
AMAZING SCRIPT. EASY TO MODIFY. I LOVE YOU.
THANK YOU
I really like it dont know why people are saying they paid for it when u offer it for free. and i like the concept of how you made it thanks .
Still using today
I forget when I bought this. Must've been at least a year ago. Still use it when I need to sort everything.
A nice concept but it appears that if an item is not transferable, it won't go onto the cd. So this doesn't appear to be very useful. I am rather disgruntled. I feel like I paid for something that won't function. If I'm doing something wrong, please tell me.
For easy storage I'd say just fill your own prims with your stuff and add those to another prim. Categorize them yourself. This takes a huge amount of time to fill and takes a lot of taking in and out of inventory.
It works, but I can hardly say it's a time saver or easy storage...
This is excellent for the price. On the downside it is a little cumbersome to use - it is another one of those "boxes in boxes" systems. The main thing I do not like about it is that after you access a disk it does not automatically go back into the spinner. You must take it back into your inventory and then put it back into the spinner. This has caused some confusion since you can end up with multiple copies of the same disc that are not all the same. But if you are just storing things that you do not need to access a lot it is just fine. So, my rating is 3 stars for average.
