The sphinx is located in the north and below the pyramids. What names their builders gave to these statues is not known. At the Great Sphinx site, the inscription on a stele by Thutmose IV in 1400 BCE, lists the names of three aspects of the local sun deity of that period, Khepera–Rê–Atum. The inclusion of these figures in tomb and temple complexes quickly became traditional and many pharaohs had their heads carved atop the guardian statues for their tombs to show their close relationship with the powerful solar deity, Sekhmet, a lioness. Other famous Egyptian sphinxes include Nine hundred with ram heads, representing Amon, were built in Thebes, where his cult was strongest.

Very deceitful
The creator is very deceitful about how many prims (land impact) are in this piece, There are 51. She does not state this probably because she knows if she would she most likely would not be able to sell it, If you are concerned about the number of prims do not buy this sculpture. For me I just wasted my money!

I just saw this object, it immediately struck my fancy. I needed something to put in front of the fireplace in the living room, and you're done. It promptly hit my guests ... the fact that you can modify it, allow me to insert some scripts spicy ... However, from a technical standpoint the textures are very well spread, and draw very realistic shadows, even the head and horns are highly detailed, for a number of prim, quite modest.

the ram is well done!! the price is a 1/10 of other egyptian sculpture that i've seen in maketplace... the textures are realistics... What to say more? 5 star...
