Let's face it, if you're wearing a large or small avatar, Second Life's default camera doesn't do much to give you a sense of scale. But with this Camera Controller, you can position your camera anywhere you want behind your avatar.
Wearing a big avatar that fills the screen? Maybe you're a dragon? Just use this controller to zoom the camera out. You'll take up less screen space, and you'll find that it really is a small world, after all. At least for you.
Wearing a small avatar? Is it hard to see yourself on your screen? Perhaps you're a child, or a small animal. (Or both!) Just zoom the camera in, and you'll see just how big the world is around you.
Just for the fun of it, the camera controller also allows you to move your camera over your shoulder!
The camera controller is easy to use! Just click and hold the arrows to move your camera into your desired position. The HUD will give numerical values while you're moving it, allowing for more precise positions. Clicking the camera icon will allow you to save your camera position, just in case you wanted to experiment with other camera positions. Once your camera in place, it'll follow you a lot like the default camera, so it won't feel like your camera is moving through butter!
The camera controller is yes-mod, so you can reposition, resize, and recolor it however you see fit.
The script is no-mod.
- Save up to 3 camera positions
- Give your camera positions custom names
- HUD displays numerical values of your camera position for convenience
- Camera follows avatar much like default camera, without feeling loose or laggy
Good Value
An excellent value. Allows me to lock my camera in any position around my avatar with three save slots. The HUD isn't pretty, but it is easy to understand and collapses to less than half its size when you are done setting your cam.
