See item in Second LifeRealistic. Easy set up. Swims in prim water. No disappointments.
I bought a set of these, promptly fell in love with them, then bought two more sets.
The sculpting is excellent; the size of the geese perfect; the animations subtle and nuanced.
Unless you cam in very closely, there is no sense of artificiality to these birds.
I like the combination of two swimming/one standing: In RL, geese will swim in a lake taking turns standing guard on the shoreline while the others bathe.
Between that and the craftsmanship in the birds themselves, it's very easy to set up a convincing lakeside display.
The script to define swimming boundaries is a simple click-corners-of-a-rectangle, within which the birds will swim in random patterns.
If you're sober, it's a simple task. Slightly drunk, I had no problems.
Like everything else about these critters, the speed is convincing, the random swimming patterns not overly abrupt.
Not mentioned in the ad or notecard, and it should be, is that these geese will swim well not only in system/terrain water, but also in prim water.
I had experimented with another creator's canada goose, advertised to swim in prim water, which regularly sunk to the lakebed unless in system/terrain water. This creator's set had no such problems.
A highly satisfying purchase, and no disappointments.
I can also recommend this creator's pidgeons.
