Cantrips Bingo

The Cantrips Bingo Board was designed to be easy to manage and even easier to play. Its features make it ideal as a party game, or as a constantly-running traffic booster to be left in auto-mode!

You can literally drop it into a room, click it, and press “Start Game” to be up and running in seconds! All of the settings can be changed through the user-friendly menu, and you can change the defaults by editing the configuration note-card if you like.

Playing is even easier than setting up, with instructions printed right on the board, and in a user-friendly player menu, but best of all, it plays just like real-life bingo!

Description of Play:
The current prize (set by the board's owner or their appointed hosts) is displayed on the bingo board. This can be either a number of Linden Dollars, or an image of an object in the board which will be awarded to the winner.

Players can click the board to be given a card (worn on center HUD), and select “Join Game” from the on-screen menu. They can do this while the game is being set up, or after the game has begun.

When the game begins, numbers are spoken by the board, and also displayed on the board's surface. The most recent number is always displayed with a red background. Players click on their bingo cards to mark each number as it is called (a semi-transparent red ink-stamp appears on the square). If they fall behind (go afk, get caught up in chat, etc) they can always see what has been called by looking at the board, or they can touch the board to get the menu and the list of numbers called this game (in the order they were called). There are 75 numbers, and the game will call them all if no one steps up to claim the prize. If it calls the last number and no one calls “bingo” before the next round, the game ends without a winner.

If a player gets numbers forming five in a row on their bingo card in any direction, they must say “bingo” to have the game check their card. If their card does not have a winning combination, the bingo board announces “Nice try, (player name)! Better check the call list!” and play continues. If they do have a winning combination, they are awarded the prize, and the game ends!
