Remember, please be sure to go to preferences->Graphics under your Second Life menu (or under your Avatar menu in Firestorm) and ensure that "Advanced Lighting Model" is enabled, otherwise you will not be able to see specular or normal maps, and you will only see the standard diffuse (texture) map. If players have their graphics set to "High" or "Ultra" it should be enabled automatically.
