FINALLY repaired after the upgrade to Havoc 4.0, the Cataporter 3.0 finds a way around the violation of the laws of conservation of momentum found int the new physics engine. Now easier to use, and more dangerous then ever before, the Cataporter is back, ready to deliver friends and foes haphazardly to your destinations.
The Cataporter is a precisely engineered, innovatively designed, trebuchet style catapult ready to fling your guests gracelessly across the landscape to deposit them with a gentle splat within meters of their destination. Unlike other SL catapults, the Cataporter is capable of reading locations and coordinates from a notecard and calculating the precise angle and velocity necessary to reach the target, at distances of more than 300 meters away and that cross sim borders. You can also enter in your own angles and velocities for more free exploration.
Additionally, the Cataporter is fully copyable. Should you wish to reach a destination beyond regular throwing distance, or have to maneuver around obstacles such as walls or ban lines, and second Cataporter can be placed as a waypoint.
With the Cataporter, the sky, literally, is the limit!
(For automatic aiming, the Cataporter 3.0 still works best on flatter surfaces. Improvements in destination settings can be made by making adjustments to the Cataporter's angle of attack or by altering the final destination coordinates to compensate for hills. Crossing sim boundaries is very possible with a little bit of simple addition or subtraction)
