Needed a nice bass for a prop and i am super fussy about looks, this fills the bill perfectly. And, yes its scalable :)
I am appalled . . !
That anyone would advertise this item as a "double bass"! The body of the instrument doesn't even come up to my waist! It would barely make a cello. I played a double-bass in RL, and the keys were above my head. These barely reach my chest! I bought this for a RP prop--but it's worthless even for that. And as it's no mod, you can't even stretch it to a reasonable size. I would never have paid so much for something like this had I known how it would look. I don't often get this incensed over something on MP that doesn't turn out as advertised, but this is probably the worst example I've encountered yet. Unless you have a petite or tiny av, don't buy this expecting a double bass. It's not. Period.
