Church / Chapel of Saint Denis de Montjoie (with Snow Add-On)

1. METRICS

This rustic little chapel will be great at the center of your village.

The dimensions of the chapel are as follows:

- Width: 11.7m
- Depth: 22.5m
- Height: 24.6m
- Land Impact of the chapel: 58
- Land Impact of the snow add-on: 41

The chapel and the snow layers will remain visible without significant distortion up to 1024 m distance (the maximum viewing distance in SL).

2. GENERAL OPTIONS

To enter the chapel, simply walk up the stairs towards the closed doors. The doors will open automatically for everybody. After 7 seconds, they will close automatically. Depending on whether the owner only, group members or everyone have been granted access, they can click on the doors to keep them open permanently, so that they do not close automatically anymore.

Click on any of the four clock faces on the chapel spire to bring up a settings menu. In this menu, you can choose to set the timezone, Daylight Savings or test-chime the bell. (Only the A4 bell will toll.) You can also toggle the clock chiming for half and hole hours on and off.

Either of the two bells (A4 and C5) will toll, when clicked on their respective cords.

3. OWNER OPTIONS

By clicking on the clock face, the owner gets presented the options to grant access to owner only, access to group members, or to everyone. This will allow them to open or close the doors permanently, to change the clock settings described above, and to toll the bells.

Even in the case when access is granted to owner or group members only, anyone else can still enter the church by triggering automatic opening and closing upon walking towards the doors.

4. SNOW ADD-ON

The pack includes a snow add-on. It come either combined with the chapel, or as stand-alone, to be repositioned around a chapel that's already rezzed. The pack also includes five full-perm textures for the snow add-on, that, if desired, can be downloaded to your computer and modified in Photoshop or GIMP (a free Photoshop alternative). It takes a little bit of puzzling to apply any of the five textures to the corresponding faces on the snow add-on, so make sure you keep an original copy in your inventory.
