With the arrival of mesh, I've been itching to make some of the best-looking crystals in Second Life.
Well, here they are! :D
These are the Classic versions of my MESH Crystals. Saturated colors that refract light with a very soft shine, these crystals give off a delectable shine at any time of day. In almost every color imaginable, no dragon, mage or fae would be caught without such colorful brilliance in their magical abodes. Shrink them to a teeny size for a secret cove, or stretch them to be gigantic crystal monoliths scattered across your sim. They're a little piece of magic in the palm of your hand.
This package includes 6 cluster styles, ranging from 2 - 4 Prim Equivalent at rezzed size (4 - 5 meters, which is also quite large, and well over the size of a regular avatar). It also contains 3 Single crystal meshes (1 Prim Equivalent each at a generous size) to make your own clusters. Keep in mind that if you want to size up these larger clusters of crystals you'll need more prim space.
35 color options for 9 crystal styles. That's a whopping 315 crystals in all!
With optimized LOD, this object will retain its shape at long distances. Even so, I recommend setting your Object (Objects&Sculpts) LOD to Max for optimal effect. You can find these settings in your Preferences under the Graphics tab.

Crystals!
Not that long ago I bought the Dark version of these crystals. And what I wrote about those applies fully to these as well so for once I'll be lazy and just copy-paste my review for the dark ones.
However I will add to this classic version that instead of 10 colours you get ... 35. Yes that means that inside the box you recieve you'll find no less than 35 other boxes you need to open. Halfway through opening them all you start thinking of how convenient a (deleteble) texture changing menu would be. Not that I'll complain I'm just sayin'. Thanks for putting this generous box out for us to toy with Khyle :-))
Review for the Dark version + this:
According to the creator it was his intention to make the best crystals in SL. Well guess what Khyle: You did it! As a stand alone crystal pack you don't get better than these.
Granted 500L may seem like a bit to some people but you won't be cheated here. There's plenty of shapes and colours to choose from and together with the copy-mod perms your crytal cave won't be a borring place to be. In fact when you open the box you'll find 10 other boxes containg the 10 different colour choices. I could have lived with one single folder containing them all but this is just an added service from Khyle.
5 stars and I predict I'll pick up some of the other crystal packs sooner or later :-)
