Best Claw Grabber in SL!
I have been a long-term user of this claw/crane machine and it is still the best one in SL. The functionality of this arcade game is outstanding, and I will explain why. You can add custom prizes, change grab strength (difficulty), set custom sounds (startup, coin, gameplay music and get prize) via UUID, change textures/fonts, and re-skin the entire chassis as it's modifiable. Because the chassis is full mod, it could even be possible to re-texture this with PBR materials as well! Although I haven't done this myself, I know you can also link physical prizes to this machine and the grabber can pick them up instead of the generic prize boxes. This item is one of my pride and joys in my gaming collection and I am so grateful to the creator for making this. The skills this creator has and the time it must have taken to build such a machine shows how great they are. I wish this creator made more machines! I highly recommend this item to any arcade or theme park owner. It would also make a great attraction in a club or games room. Please support this creator and get this great game!
Works fantastic
I will be honest, the creator is obviously not a native english speaker abd that shows in the notecards but with a little time the majority should he able to figure out how this works and i can tell it works great.
You can place bigger prices as well, the only thing that requires the small size is the "preview" inside of the maschine.
I had mine set up within about 1-2 hours and i am loving it and will definitely make more.
The only negative aspects is the sometimes wonky text in the manual, the fact you cant resize it because some elements will reset position and size upon script reset and that the box itself uses up quite many prims + additional land impact for every prize in the box obviously but thats to be expected.
The negative ratings are unreasonable and I think they did not fully understand the system of how to set it up.
Disappointing
I bought it because it said mod, in order to change those ugly cubes for 1 prim figures with the same size of the cubes (0.15) and yes I was able to do it but the script is very limited and only assigns one figure that obeys the physical parameters, the rest It remains as an ornament and that means that I cannot reward with that same figure that I won... At least if it were a little smaller it wouldn't look "empty" of prizes or perhaps it would be possible to enlarge the claw to play with bigger prizes... a poorly exploited idea or lack of technical resolution,
Awesome
Definitely the best claw game in second life! You can change the difficulty, claw speed, textures, prices and more. I love it so much and made already a lot of money with it!
ehh
disappointed
didn't bother sending maker a NC they seem to lack customer service skills
""Sorry. Japanese Only"" her profile says, as if she cant use a translator, but i guess after paying her i should use one, and presubale run her proly back through it?? i know, i know, what's the big deal.. it's just a bad look.. people already hate sending notecards as is and that warning on her page alludes to the kinda service she gives in my eyes...
its a good enough machine .. (3 stars is baseline) starting with 3 stars it loosing one for the following reasons
1, it resets the traspaincey on the sid windows after every turn, i was gonna use my glass texture but it , being a glass texture ment for windows is too clear when you set it to be even more transparent then it is
2, the prizes reset positions each time, besides the fact that it doesn't space the prizes out very well, after you manually edit them to be spread out a bit more even, each time one prize it gotten they all pile into a heap in the middle .. i understand dropping the one in a random stop after each turn.. but why all of them??
3, i had at one point, 24 prizes, like the ones that you can see in the machine (box replacements) and evey 2 turns the machine would mess up, have a script error and become moveable by mouse slide, like a physical object
Start your own Gacha market!
For those looking to start their own shop for selling Gachas' or even items of their own creation, I would highly recommend buying this as a fun way to sell off collections.
The machine is customizable(sp?) from the colors, to the textures, and even the machines sounds!
for those looking to start a mini arcade, this product would be a very good start.
The cheaper version gives you the same things as this one, the only difference is this version gives the gift that keeps on giving (COPY), which means unlimited uses for various locations.
For those looking to start selling things on SL in a fun way, I would highly recommend picking up this product.
