This is great if your a newbie and haven't played around with editing things. I am a newbie and had already discovered what this very SHORT tutorial offers. I was expecting something more in depth.

Well, if you are way more advanced "then" this, why would you be looking for freebie tutorials in the first place?

I wanted a full-perms leather motorcycle jacket texture, and in fact that was what I was searching for when I found this. FOR FREE. I'd found a couple of leather motorcycle jacket textures already, but the people wanted big bucks for them, and they weren't nearly as good as this one.

Plus, with this, I got a good sweater texture, a decent jeans texture, and another texture or two. FOR FREE.

If you want to learn to make clothes, this is a great place to start. No, it won't teach you everything you need to know, but it will at least point you in the right direction. FOR FREE.

I don't particularly WANT to learn how to design clothes in an outside graphics program; that's just not me, and besides, I need SOMETHING to spend my money on in SL.

But everyone should at least know what to do with good clothing textures once they find them, and this will show you what to do. And the same principal applies to things like tattoos. And IT'S FREE.

I agree this is not for the advanced clothing designer. But if you are someone who has always wondered how to make clothes, or are someone who just wants a few more clothing textures to add to their library, pick this up.

And then, don't bitch about it, even if it is not quite what you expected, because IT'S FREE.

This wasn't what I thought it would be. Apart from the textures, if you look at the images here that is literally what you're getting. A prim with those images on them. I didn't feel this was a properly written tutorial, in my opinion.

a very brief, simple explanation of clothing in SL, in fact it seems to be just a giant version of what you see in the listing. the included textures are nice & detailed.

Not what I was expecting. This is for complete newbies to use as it only shows the template and so on.
