IN THE PACKAGE:
> DiffuseWL EEP setting
HOW TO SET UP YOUR VIEWER BEFORE USING THE EEP:
Understandably, shadows and lighting can still affect what you see inworld, so please turn off 'local lights' and 'atmospheric shading' before using the EEP setting to get the colour accuracy you need for your project.
[Please see second image for visual instructions in the Marketplace listing].
**NOTE: We strongly advise that you reverse this change when you're done with everything/before you start working with materials, because this setting eliminates all lighting and materials for diffuse/basecolour/albedo work.

~FAQ~
> What is this for?
This is a personal EEP setting used to preview textures inworld without any light obstructions. As far as we know, there are no available windlight that truly reflects the look of a texture without any obstructions, such as slight warmths or cools in tone. I've made the DiffuseWL EEP setting free to share for this reason, and have tested it by constantly flicking between 'full bright' and off whilst adjusting each unit in lighting until it no longer looks like there's a difference (there's a possibility that the effect may vary between monitor to monitor, please let us know if there is).
> WHY ARE THESE FREE TO PASS AROUND?
I made this a while ago and decided to share it after someone talked about neutral windlights/EEP settings that are great for working on textures.
> CAN I ADD THIS TO MY VIEWER?
Go right on ahead!
> WHY ARE YOU MAGNIFICENT, MISTER WAINWRIGHT?
With every step I take, banknotes bloom from beneath my feet while gold imprints from my boots are left with the stunning garden behind me.

FINAL WORD:
=================================
FEEL FREE to give these out to anyone/do anything you want with it. This windlight setting isn't there to 'wow' anyone, but rather help texture artists work with seams without any obstructions and see how their colours look on their project accurately. I can't guarantee this is perfect (since not all monitors are the same) but it's as close as I can get it and I feel that it is better than the built in options which have warmth/cool tones that ruin colour accuracy.
Remember, sharing is caring, and caring means sharing! Now go out there and make some sweet builds, sweetcheeks!
Best Regards,
Walton F. Wainwright (Walton.Wainwright)

Couldn't do without it <3
I've used this EEP for every tinker I've picked up for a long minute now. I building everything in it, and it is often my default for just wandering. I find it's gentler on my PCs machine guts too.
I've gotten so used to using this EEP I would be lost without it. You have my sincerest gratitude Mr. Wainwright :-)
Useful!
Thanks Walton for all your contributions to the creative community here, super useful. ♥
