Fitted mesh allows Mesh clothing and avatars to be adjusted using an avatar's Body Shape sliders in the Appearance Editor. This results in clothing that can adjust and fit to your avatar's own personal body shape and style. But if someone doesn't have a fitted mesh viewer, your clothing will look distorted. So then you can opt to wear the regular mesh outfits until fitted mesh reaches a wider audience.
The demo contains the mesh parts only so that you may see if the fit is correct on your body.
