Cotton Candy Cottage

Honestly, I'm not sure how to review this cottage.

First, the positive. It IS adorable and is exactly what I need for an upcoming event that I'm hosting. At least from the 'look' perspective.

But here is the confusion and why I can't give it the 5 stars that I really want to give it.

On Marketplace, it says the item is copy and modify. Perfect, because I knew I was going to make a few changes for my event; however, when I received it, it says no modify but I also know sometimes that's an error and I figure, it's copy so I can try and see.

I was in luck, it was modifiable and I was able to make the adjustments I needed. I put together the look I wanted, accidentally de-rezzed it, but it's copy, right? I knew i could recreate.

Now my real issue. It's *not* copy, so all the pieces I had unlinked are gone. I thought perhaps the unlinked pieces had gone to my lost and found folder and I could put back together. The doors are permanently gone though, and some of the windows

I dropped a NC to the creator for a redelivery (the inworld store was no longer there) but, in all fairness to the creator, I couldn't wait overlong for a response because I'm working within a time crunch for my event. So, I purchased the house a second time

I have one shot at getting this build like I want so I have my fingers crossed there. I will get one use out of it because I know when I modify it and the event is over, it will not rez back with all the pieces. The cottage was and is a good price, but remember, I've bought it twice now. Unnecessarily IF permissions had been stated correctly.

I really want to amend this review and will do so if the issue can be corrected. Like I stated in my first paragraph, it is an adorable build so I'm hopeful I hear from the creator in a timely manner and the 'copy and mod' can be fixed and sent to me.

Three stars...because it's so cute. The loss of the other two stars because of of no copy and lost pieces.
