D-Arrow VI Version 1.5

I own every Dani plane, except for the model that had Adult sex animations added (sigh). This is a good, zippy little plane but there are some shortcomings.

First I should say this is an excellent plane for a beginner. It is an ideal first plane that is easy to take off and land in. It crosses sims as good as any other Dani plane, at 43 LI I would have thought it should be a little quicker at handover, but it's the best out there, you are not going to hit a sim boundary and loose control to voom out of control for 3 sims before exploding in a ball of fire like some other well known plane maker. This plane can take a 90° crossing like a champ, weird angles without blinking and even a 4 boundary corner crossing without crashing.

For those that have other Dani planes this has the same feel as any of the smaller jets, although I feel the turn damping is improved and maybe the smoothest and most accurate of any plane Daniels has built so far. That part is lovely. New camera positions on each of the wings are nice, although I would have liked them in a little so the pilot can be seen. Also it's way easier for copilots to sit - no more trying to teach your copilot how to sit in the RHS for 20 minutes before a flight.

It's incredibly easy to paint if you have a basic knowledge of Photoshop/Gimp - many curves are included in the .PSD file.

Now for the negatives. If you are a mouselook/panel flyer like me: The lights are not labelled, which is a huge fail and makes realistic piloting much harder. Also the battery can't be turned on without ground power coming on too, which is a little silly on water.

Also the unnecessary shadow prim, like all Dani planes, even when off using the 'sd' command, still hits the taxi lights on many runways and makes this plane bounce about.

All in all, this is a 'must get' plane at a bargain price. Six starts for the Arrow VI; don't hesitate, just buy it.

I love my Little Arrow. I just can't get enough of it. Flies just like a real plane, Smooth Sim Border crossing. Can change from Amphibious To traditional Plane. Versitile. But Mostly A true Joy to Fly.

I'm pretty sure I have all the dani planes, I just love this one, but then I love em all....only place to get truly awesome aircraft in SL...Great Job!!!!!!

Awesome modeling, the usual great flight mechanic, and full features. Still, it's 1/3rd the cost of lesser aircraft in sl of the same class. Also like how, unlike previous Dani planes, this one seems to be properly scaled. Also extremely reliable crossing and safety-wise. The only downside is it's a bit sluggish, even in comparison to other dani prop planes.. full throttle only gets you up to 50 in-world knots, I kinda liked how his other aircraft COULD go fast, but could also fly well at slower speeds, this one feels stuck at the lower end of the velocity range, even for a small single piston engine.

What a great value! Sea Plane Amphibious Floats included too :)). Flies exceptionally well crossing sim lines effortlessly, quick transition. The flight scripting is sensational and a real joy to fly. Appreciate the v1.1 update released today enhancing the gear retract animations... very nice :)) Also the aftermarket paints from a variety of painters are so very easy to apply, or make your own. It comes with a variety of paints. Don't hesitate this really is a great value at this price. Enjoy!
