These planes have a professionally crafted flight-script, optimized for ultra smooth sim-crossings.
The scripting includes careful aerodynamics for flight/turns, proper lift, proper stall (large reduction in speed and lift), lowering landing gear reduces speed and lift while lowering flaps reduces speed and reduces stall speed, and there is proper flight dynamics such that slow speed causes controlled descent (even with nose up) enabling soft-landings
Smooth and responsive, great for beginners and a joy for experienced pilots. Because they have a fully functional copilot (or passenger) position, you can take friends for flight rides, and even let them try learning how to fly.
These plane have a shiny brushed-steel mesh body, very closely modeled on the British BAE-Hawk and the American Gos-Hawk which are used as either a jet-trainer and/or a light-combat jet by many countries (it is *very* similar to the French-German Alpha-Jet which is its main competitor). The British built T-1 BAE-Hawk is used by their F.T.S. (Flight Training School) and are widely used in many other countries, and the US Navy+Marines use the Boeing built T-45 Gos-Hawk.

These SecondLife planes can be fully operated by their pilot (or copilot !!) using keyboard movement and chat operations commands, but also includes a screen HUD for most commands which also displays operating data (the same as on the on/off Hover-Text info-display).
And the package includes a "Surrounding-Sim-Display" which is an SL visual G.P.S. showing your position and direction in your current region and the 9 surrounding regions.

Worth every penny
This plane(s) look great and they fly even better. Great mesh work and very nice textures. The animations on the gears, flaps and canopy are all spot on. The wheels smoke and have a sound when they contact the ground which is very nice. You can tell a lot of time and though went into making these jets. The scripting is very impressive. The jet will stall if you sty to aim the nose up with the throttle too low or perform any other unrealistic maneuver. The flaps and gears being down also affect the way the plane behaves and how the wings roll which is pretty neat and not something my other planes do. I had bought the alpha jet when it 1st came out and loved it so figured I might as well buy this one as too and add it to my collection. The surrounding sim display hud alone i think is worth like L$150 so this is truly a steal for this package deal. I approve these jets. Even better than their Alpha-Jets, still highly realistic and enjoyable flight
I bought their Alpha-Jet package 2 weeks ago and really like how realistic they fly. When these new Hawk-Jets were announced a few days ago I knew I had to check them out. They are great looking, but above all the US-Marines jet and and Canadian-CT115 are exceptionally eye catching. Still great to fly, and they still support a passenger or copilot so when I get told how great they look i invite that person to come fly with me.
Like the previous Alpha Jets, these new Hawk Jets are Mesh, have moving flaps and rudder and elevators and canopy, but like the real Hawks they also have moving ailerons for steering. Try them (the try and fly link is in the ad), you will love them. The biggest problem is deciding which of the 5 versions to fly.
