MAKE YOUR BUILD HAVE YOUR NAME
If you are making a build to give away or sell, please make sure a prim of yours is the root prim, even if its just a small transparent prim. A prim rug or sculpt chair would work too, or link to your prefab. This way your name will show on your build. Do not sell or give away any of my mesh objects with full permissions

The mesh screens, textures and scripts included are all full perm.

TEXTURING
You can use these screens in a myriad of ways. Put any textures you like on the screen big faces, wood frames or hinges. Theres even different faces for the sides and tops of the hinges. Add shine or full bright to individual faces as you like. Put a stained glass texture or an image of you and your friends on it!

To texture a face, tick select face ON in the build menu and click on the face you wish to texture. Or drag the texture from your inventory to that face - but don't drop the texture!

On this screen you can only put ONE texture on the screen faces - the mesh will automatically align it to spread across the screen. The rear face texture is oriented left to right the same as the front. If you wish to have the same texture on each panel, fiddle with the repeats and offsets.

Images that are wider than tall work best for the display face. See the textured example for how easy it is. Use the Texture face / side identification notecard to find face numbers if you want to script or animate a face.

BUILD & LAND IMPACTS
Put an open screen in your build to divide a room. Or a closed screen against the wall for visual detail. Since each screen is 0.5 in Land Impact at the size rezzed (or up to about 4.5 x .84 x 3.3 meters) for the open screens), they will not add much to your prim costs. Link two open screens (up to about 4.5 x .84 x 3.3 meters) and the land impact remains at 1.

SET UP TO OPEN AND CLOSE ON TOUCH USING INCLUDED SCRIPT

Now for the fun part - link an open and a closed screen with your own root prim, and add the handy Screen Open/Close script to the root. This uses a modifiable script that changes from open to closed screens in increments on click and allows a nice opening and closing screen with low land impact and your name on the linkset!

This script doesn't just toggle alpha on and off, the open screen actually folds up! And the script is full perm so you can mod the settings. See the video below or come to the shop in world to see!

PERMISSIONS:
My meshes textures and sculpt maps are sold with full permissions, and are meant to be used in your creations.

However, do not resell my DBS meshes, textures or maps themselves, nor give the build components away, neither in SL nor outside of it. A lot of work and care went into each mesh, texture or sculpt and I ask that you respect my right as a creator, as you expect others to respect yours.

You may not sell or give out my meshes full perm - they must be no copy OR no transfer. Please make my meshes part of your build, or attach a small root prim that you have created so that you show as creator. Do not simply sell a stand-alone copy of my examples - make a build that shows your artistry. You don't want your customers contacting me for support do you? Good - neither do I :)
