[DFZ]Regalia_Nails (4 Types!)---3.1 (fix)

First, I just want to say that these nails are WONDERFUL. They have SO much potential, and honestly they should have been included with the body to begin with. The idea is awesome, the mesh is well-rigged, and well-sculpted. I feel like there is room for a bit of improvement, however.

1) I would love to see a unified UV map across the nail styles, this would make them much simpler to texture (similar to the way omega nails work would be amazing!), and would make uploading textures for nails much less expensive. Currently each nail style has its own, very similar, but different, UV map, along with a different UV map for the masculine variant of each. This means that to make nail textures would cost $L80 per colour you make. Ouch. It also means having to make 8 different variants of each colour. Oof.

2) as was mentioned before, I'd love to see these get an underside, as the single sided mesh tends to disappear or make other things disappear at certain angles.

3) The included "spec map" is just a solid pale grey texture. I thought it hadn't loaded, but it turns out that it had lol. Here's a preview of it: https://i.gyazo.com/4a7a3130f377d421b6079cfd937e763a.png

I'm incredibly happy that someone made nails for the regalia so soon! my only issue is the fact that they don't have an underside and it is very noticeable depending on your ao, I do hope they get an update to fix that soon before people make textures for them. other than that though, they're perfect!!

I have a male character that has talons, but with the easy UV and a bit of fiddling around I was able to make them look very similar to a style that fits my Masculine body! And! Unlike most other nail makers, they included all nails for all bodies for the Regalia. A+!!!

We needed these! They're nails, they fit, they texture nicely, the shapes are nice and varied! You can't ask for a lot more.

They do NOT have a backside, so from some angles they do disappear. You're not crazy, that's really what's happening. I'd like to see some with some thickness or a backside because of that, but at this price I'm happy with what I bought and I'll be wearing these... well, always. My nail-less fingers were unsettling.
