DG Profile Duty Tip Sign [Mod/Copy]

Single-Prim, Profile Picture display, Auto-Logout, Particle Effects, Low Lag with Tip Splits and Configurable Pay Options

The DG Profile Duty Tip Sign combines a number of features found in other tip devices, but adds some special features that we feel will enhance your use of it and add that special quality that sets it apart from others. Among the features provided by the DG Profile Duty Tip Sign are:

Group or Owner Only Claiming - Configurable so only members of the selected Group may claim the Tip Sign, or only the Owner may claim it.
Tip Splitting - Configurable Tip Split amount allows the payout of a percentage of the received tip to the Claimant.
Single Transaction Owner Tipping - Tips received while the Owner is also the Claimant are not "paid out" again, thus elminating duplicate transaction records for a single tip received.
Automatic Sensor Logout - Automatic Logout of the current Claimant when out of sensor range for a specified time. (May be disabled to reduce lag.)
Group Member Logout - Group Members may log out a fellow Group Member (only active when automatic logout is disabled).
Owner Logout - Owner may log out the current Claimant at any time.
Settable Quick Pay Amounts - The four Quick Pay amounts may be configured as well as the "Suggested" payment amount.
Profile Picture Display and "On Duty" indicator when Claimed - Rapidly and visibly indicates when the Tip Sign is claimed and by whom.
Single Prim - Special construction uses only a single Prim yet provides a visually appealing display format.
Easily configurable Owner Logo - Owner or Club Logo can be "dropped into" the Tip Sign and is automatically displayed.
Particle Effects upon Tip receipt - May be easily disabled if desired. (Custom effects available on request)

The Tip Sign is delivered with Mod/Copy permissions so you as the Owner may make changes to it as needed for your own uses. You are also permitted to rez as many copies as desired thus protecting your investment in the device. We recommend that you retain the original copy at all times, making changes only to copies. This prevents problems that might arise from incorrect configuration settings or choices. It also allows you to have multiple versions of the same device for each particular need.

Cycling the Tip Sign
The DG Profile Duty Tip Sign reloads its configuration data and textures every time it is "Cycled" (meaning claimed and then released). After you make changes to the configuration notecard or the logo texture, claim the sign then immediately release it to reload the new settings. You may also "Reset Scripts in Selection" if desired, but this is not necessary.

Setting the Owner/Club Logo
The top section of the Tip Sign displays your custom Logo texture. As delivered, the DG Products for Second Life logo is displayed. To display your own logo instead, simply drop your custom texture into the Contents tab of the Tip Sign (during Editing) then cycle the Tip Sign as described above.

Setting the Configuration Options
The DG Profile Duty Tip Sign uses a single Notecard to control its operation and behavior. A standard Config Notecard is included in the original Tip Sign. After making any changes to the Config Notecard, cycle the Tip Sign as described above to reload the changes.

Particle Effects On Tip Receipt
When a tip is received, the Tip Sign will send out a short burst of particle effects that help you see that a tip was paid. However you may easily disable these effects if desired.
