INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

**************************************

These are instructions on how to add food to your table and position it so it is positioned on your table top. (This is pretty simple if you know how to position things and to pan around to see the sides of things -- if you don't know how to do this, you might get a friend to do it for you.)

PLEASE NOTE: THE POSITION OF THE FOOD CANNOT BE CHANGED ONCE IT IS SAVED. THEREFORE A BOX OF "ALTERNATE" DINNERS WITH THE NAME CHANGED IS INCLUDED IF YOU NEED TO START OVER -- THE TABLE SCRIPT WILL THINK IT IS A DIFFERENT DINNER.

1. Open the food box and copy the Food items and Position Module to Inventory. DO NOT PUT THE MODULE OR BOX IN THE TABLE!!!!!!!

2. DRAG THE POSITION MODULE TO THE GROUND. This will enable you to get the Owner's Menu.

3. Check the rotation numbers of your table (in the Object tab) and make sure they are exactly one of these numbers (ROUND to whichever is closest): 0, 90, 180, 270, or 360.

4 R click your table and choose OPEN. Drag each food item from inventory into the table contents. DO NOT PUT THE BOX OR POSITION MODULE INSIDE THE TABLE.

5. L CLICK your table top to get the OWNER'S menu.

6. Choose Options > SCAN to make the new food buttons show up.

7. L CLICK your table top and click one of the new food buttons.

8. The food will rez a little above the table.* Using the table runner or placemats as your guide, position it so A) it is just above the table top*, and B) it is centered on the table. Look on all 4 sides of the table to see how the runner or placemats look. *USE YOUR CAMERA TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT FLOATING TOO HIGH, OR THAT THE SHADOWS ARE NOT PARTLY DOWN INTO THE TABLE.

FOR ROUND or SQUARE TABLES, MAKE SURE THE PLACE SETTINGS FOR 2 GO THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE OTHER SETTINGS FOR 2 IN THE TABLE.

(* With some tables, the food may also rez perpendicular to the table. If so, rotate it around until it looks about right (and if you mess it up you can choose Undo from Edit). Then check the Object Tab rotation numbers (at the bottom). All of them should be either 0, 90, 180, 270, or 360. Whichever is a little off, round it up or down.)

9. When you have the position like you want it, leave Edit mode and L CLICK the table to get the menu. Click OPTIONS > SAVE.

Repeat this for the other food items.

Happy Dinner Partying!
