The GCD Audio Pro DJ Set 4 is highly detailed, 3D and 100% mesh construction.(22 prims Land Impact) with materials enabled for extra realism.
It Includes 2 vinyl turntables, 2 CD Decks and mixer, Speaker Monitors, Laptop Computer, DJ animations and highly detailed controls and wiring.
It's a complete linked set that has been designed to be a compact system that you can rez anywhere and easily set up. It's Modify/Copy/No Transfer so you can rez as many as you want.

The DJ system comes as a LINKED set with it's own menu but I have also included in the pack all the individually boxed separate elements which you may prefer using. However, PLEASE NOTE: If you use the separate items they will have a higher prim land impact and they should also NOT be linked as this may cause the scripts to malfunction. Each item will of course also have it's own separate menu.

INSTRUCTIONS
Click on middle MIXER part of the system and you will automatically attach to the set and start the DJ animation, The menu will drop down and from here you have a few choices.

ANIMATIONS
Choose from one of the 3 included DJ animations - if you want to add your own, just drop them into the contents folder of the system and the script will pick it up the new animation and add it to the menu.

MENU OPTIONS:
1) HOVERTEXT - Choose to have 'DJ' hovertext on or off
2) ACCESS - Choose who can access system - Owner, Group or Public
3) AUTO - This turns on the Auto Animate function and will automatically change the animations for you.
4) TIMING - This is to adjust the timing of when you want the animations to change when in 'Auto'
5) HEIGHT - This adjusts the height of your Avatar.
6) MIXER - Choose from 3 colors - Black, White, Silver.
7) CD DECKS - Choose from 3 colors - Black, White, Silver.
8) TURNTABLES - Choose from 6 colors - Black, White, Silver, Dark Wood, Light Wood and Classic Grey. (You will also notice that there is both Black, White and Black, White Wood, the only difference with these is the Bump Map and Specular/Shine Textures and you will only see the difference with very high and ultra graphics settings. So you get a choice of both smooth and wood finishes.)
9) COMPUTER - Choose from 3 colors - Black, White, Silver.
10) SPEAKERS - You have 4 color choices; Black, White, Dark Wood & Light Wood.
You also have an option to add a dust cover to the front of the speakers with a color choice of black, white or grey and you can even make the woofers pulsate.
11) On/Off - Turns the system On and Off and shuts down all animated effects. It's recommended to turn the system off when not in use to save any unnecessary script usage on the server.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
There are a few other things the system can do just by clicking certain parts of it:
Whilst DJing....
1) Click on the start/stop button to start the record plate rotating....click again to stop.
2) Click on the tone arm and it will move across and sit on the record ....click again and it will move back.
3)Click on the record plate to get the Record Texture MENU for further options. *watch out for the mixer light beam which might get in the way in some positions.
RECORD: The record textures inside the record plate are loaded into the menu and you have a choice of up to 11. Just click on the one you want and the record will appear.
4) COMPUTER - Click on the screen for the menu to change the texture of the display.....if you want to add your own screen just drop your texture into the contents of the computer and the script will automatically pick it up. You can add up to 22 textures.

MAKING YOUR OWN RECORDS:
You can make you own records for the turntable if you want. I've included a UV layout and White Label record example with full permissions which you can download to your computer and use as a template to use with photo editing software like Gimp or Photoshop to create your own.
Once you've created your own record textures, upload them to Second Life and drop them into the contents of the record plate where the others are and the menu will automatically pick up the new ones.
PLEASE NOTE: The textures name can not be more then 12 characters and you can only have up to 11 textures in the menu so you may need to delete any you don't want before adding new ones.
