DL Fog Machine v1.0 is a sophisticated fogger suitable for use in clubs, places of business, the home, or anywhere else fog is desired. The machine has a number of highly customizable options to deliver the effect you wish to create. It has been designed to have minimal lag impact during typical operation, yet be dynamic enough to offer extensive particle coverage where desired.

Modes of Operation (see pictures)
==================
- Cone: Fog is emitted in a compact burst from the nozzle and gradually expands to fill a cone shaped area in front of the machine.
- Directional: Fog is emitted from the nozzle and gradually expands to fill the area in front of the machine.
- Fountain: Fog particles are dispersed from the nozzle in a spiral pattern.
- Mist: Smooth fog particles are emitted from the nozzle and expand in all directions.
- Omni: Fog is emitted from the nozzle and rapidly expands in all directions, adhering to the Z-axis of the machine.
- Omnidrop: Fog expands in all directions but does not adhere to the machine's Z-axis, and will gradually drop.
- Omniwind: Fog is emitted as with Omni, but is affected by wind direction and speed.
- Puff: The machine releases puffs of smoke which rise rapidly.
- Wind: Fog is emitted as with Directional, but is subject to wind direction and speed.
Density (see pictures)
=======
- 1: Fog is very light with low particle yield. This setting produces an almost steamlike effect.
- 2: This setting is twice as dense as setting 1 and produces a relatively thin fog effect.
- 3: This setting is twice as dense as setting 2 and results in a standard fog effect.
- 4: This setting emits twice as many particles as setting 3 for medium-heavy fog.
- 5: This setting emits twice as many particles as setting 4 and results in heavy fog.
- 6: This setting emits twice as many particles as setting 5 and produces extremely dense fog.
Additionally, there are three density levels numbered 7 - 9 which produce varying degrees of dense fog, following the same rule as above, but which may be impractical for general use.
Color (see pictures)
=====
A number of coloring options exist to allow for the creation of unique color schemes in addition to solid colors. When choosing solid colors, a separate value can be selected for Start and End. If different values are chosen for Start and End, the primary color will transition gradually to the secondary over the life of the fog particles.
The following colors are available: Aqua, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, Yellow, Silver, Black and Gold.
In addition to solid colors and color gradients, the following color presets are available:
- Fire: Colors transition from red to yellow.
- Fog: Colors randomly fluctuate between subtle shades of grey.
- Galaxy: Particles are primarily solid black, with occassional bursts of white.
- Ice: Colors transition from blue to white.
- Pine: Colors randomly fluctuate with subtle shades of pale yellow.
- Rainbow: Colors cycle the full spectrum, repeating every few seconds.
- Random: Colors are generated randomly at a constant pace.
- Tree: Colors randomly fluctuate with varying shades of dark green.
- Watermelon: Colors transition from pink to green.
Persistance
===========
This features controls the rate of fog dissipation, and relates to the number of seconds the fog will persist before it decays. Valid options for this setting are: 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 15.0, 30.0 and 60.0
Prelighting (see pictures)
===========
Prelighting refers to the way in which particles are illuminated in Second Life. When prelighting is enabled, particles appear bright and colors vibrant. When prelighting is disabled, particles will appear dull unless they are lit by a nearby light source or the Sun. Both settings are possible with the machine in all modes of operation.
Also ideal for machinima, outdoor ambience and horror themed displays

What a fog machine
This is an outstanding piece of work. The more i play with it and understand its workings the better it gets. BUT the one thing I think it needs is a remote so I can put it by my other controls in my club. If you want to see it work come on by Live pleasure at imperial beach.
shorty feden
Good fogger! But no copy no mod = no happy customer!
I was really wanting to put this on a stage BUT... it's no mod so I can't make the dang thing transparent... not happy... PLUS it's NO Copy... I hate things that are no copy, waste!
But anyway... it's really nice.. can set colour and density... just not happy that it's no copy no mod and why trans?
fantastic!
so many features - you cant go wrong with this purchase
Perfect!
This item was just what i was looking for. I manage a steampunk based club called The Aetherscope and hey...what a steampunk club without steam. This product provided just that. The fog goes far and it looks great. Anyone looking for a fog machine, this is the one to get. Hell...i got 4 of them. =)
Very nice, the fair price on this and lots of options made me save the time of scripting one myself. I use this for taking pictures in my workshop studio and it add's nice smoke effect to the background for me, eliminating the need to make aftereffects in photoshop. Decent product.
Nice bit of kit - versatile and very effective - 5 stars from us
