Better than the one I paid $$$ for
I have a car for my Dinkie avatar that drives extremely smoothly and nicely. I like it so well I decided to buy one for my human avie, but the one I chose -despite great reviews- is all over the place when I try to drive it. By comparison, this free gift works much better, but four stars because it still doesn't handle anywhere near as nicely as the little one I have.
I really don't want a race car; I just want a nice little car to drive 'round sightseeing, while carrying a passenger or two. Extra points if it also functioned as an attachment, so I could teleport with it....

I got the free 599 XX and its awesome . had a issue but thanks to the staff , the problem was a simple fix . I joined the club and they have a great place to as well . Thank You again folks for your help . Great place to do business with.. peace

Tested at Racer's Island (Timberline F1 circuit, best lap 19.887). Like many SL vehicles it doesn't behave the way you'd expect a car to, so adapt your expectations accordingly. Once you figure out how to drive it, you can handle it pretty easily though. It drives in a predictable manner and the steering isn't overly sensitive. Once you learn the layout of the course you should be able to drive without pinballing your way off every wall in sight. Fast car, but not too fast for the physics of a proper driving/racing region. The HUD that was included was the real gem - fixes your camera in place for easier driving, also includes a script counter and a region health checker. If you're interested in cars in SL, there is absolutely no downside to having this free car as part of your collection.
