[DS] Item Exchanger / Gacha Exchanger / Item Updater Version 2017.07.18

This Item Exchanger system is a suite of scripts that allows your customers to exchange products they've bought from you, for anything you allow them to exchange for.

This system was initially created for a friends customers to exchange their transfer only gacha items, for copy only versions of the same gacha items. By doing this prevents content loss from when SL has bad days and wants to eat transfer only items. When your customers have the ability to exchange their gachas for copyable, no-trans versions of your content, they'll feel confident rezzing their rare items inworld. An additional benefit is that you'll have less overhead troubleshooting your customers loss of content.

The usefulness of this system doesn't just end there! You can use it to update products, host games and events, and just about anything you can think of! Imagine creating a hunt event where players had to exchange tokens for the final product, or other clues. Your imagination is your only limit on what can be done!

From the perspective of the customer, all they do is rez the item at your exchange station, and the station gives them a new item.

For content creators, setup is ultra simple! Add one script to the item to be traded in. Add the exchanger scripts to your exchanger device, edit a notecard with correct item pairings, and click the Setup button. Done.

Permissions of your purchase:
The scripts that go in the exchanger are copy only.
The notecard that goes in the exchanger is copy-mod.
The script that goes in your item-to-be-exchanged is copy-trans.
