Considered to be one of the most beautiful of the Torii gates, this style is seen at Shinto shrines dedicated to the kami Inari. She can appear as male or female or both, a fox, a blessing, a healer, a fertility entity, rice bringer or a curse on one's enemies. The gates divide the profane world from the sacred and are considered good luck. Often seen lining paths they are sometimes dedicated contributions of successful individuals. Edo period fans will probably reckognize these gates. Torii are also often favored by Buddhists, in spite of governmental attempts to segregate the faiths.

This gate was constructed to exacting sacred and traditional specifications passed down by master carpenters. A resize script is included to preserve those ratios. I made the gate in the fully detailed 14 prim model, a surprisingly detailed 2 prim model and a single prim model for the truly frugal use of your allotments. You will never need to be without your gate. The single prim sculpt is resizeable using normal editing tools.*

I made this with great attention to detail, balance and aesthetics. Whether you use the giant size, worthy of an entire city, or a small size for your garden, it's well worth the investment.

Please enjoy making Second Life a more beautiful place.

*The two prim model is supplied linked and softlinked. When moving or editing the two prim softlinked version, be sure to enter edit, and press shift-left mouse click to select the second prim so as to not disturb the fitting.
