Great Lookng but not really usable.

Posted February 11, 2017 by Billy Daxter 4 stars

To start with this is a great looking house. Nice textures and nice appearance with a really minimalist modern look. One of the best ones I have seen on SL.

The problem comes with this house's design and shape and sizing. There's no main entrance door on this house at all. You are either entering in a living room or a bedroom or some other less than optimal place. I could live with that as this was going to be my beach house.

The upstairs area is completely useless due to the layout. Too many small rooms when a smaller number of rooms would have given larger actually usable space. Lots of space in this build is wasted on closets. I dunno about you but I don't have a need for closets on second life. The shallow one in the bedroom on the bottom level is a nice touch because it does not take much space but most of the rooms are strangled with closets and other small spaces.

I eventually gave up on this house because of the room sizing issue. It was a pain to move anything around inside it and the first time I actually tried to use it I decided to replace it. Those small rooms become a real pain if you have a bed with poses and change the pose. You end up with a view full of wall every time.

Feedback for the creator. Ditch the closets and make larger rooms. This could be a really great house if it were not for all the unusable space. I absolutely love lots of closet space in real life to store my things. Problem is Second life we can store virtually anything in our inventory and go anywhere with it. Ther is absolutely no need for walk in closets when all you have to do is click and change outfits or rez cars and houses. The closets make this house confusing and choke it on usable space.
