Dvandva Tip Me Script

Just drop this script into any object and you have created a simple to use yet sophisticated tip jar. The "Tip Me" script allows people to send you tips by paying the object the script is in. You can:

- optionally display the most recent donation amount and name
- optionally display the maximum donation amount and name
- customize the name of the tip jar
- group tip jars into separate networks
- set fast pay and default pay amounts through menu system
- share donation information and configuration among multiple tip jars

The name of the tip jar that is displayed in the floating text is in the description field of the object. To change the name of the tip jar:

1) Edit the tip jar object
2) Go to the General tab in the editor
3) Modify the description field
4) Close the editor window
5) Right click on the tip jar object to get the menu
6) Select "Update Name" from the menu

This will update the names of all of tip jars that are in the same group.

Tip jars can be grouped together by having a common name for the tip jar object. All tip jars in the same region with the same owner and the same object name will share their tip jar name, display options, tip amounts, and default pay amounts. For example:

Object #1 #2 #3
Name: personal personal business
Description: Rian's Tips Rian's Tips Donations

Tip Jar objects #1 and #2 will share all information between them. If someone pays one of them the other one will also be updated with the amount. If you change the what information is displayed on tip jar object #2 then the change will also be made to tip jar object #1.

The menu commands are only available to the owner. To invoke the menu right click and choose "Touch" from the menu.

Menu Commands

- Amounts - displays a menu to choose the amounts displayed in the pay object display.

- Option 1 - sets the amount for the 1st pay option
- Option 2 - sets the amount for the 2nd pay option
- Option 3 - sets the amount for the 3rd pay option
- Option 4 - sets the amount for the 4th pay option
- Default - sets the default pay amount

- Update All - updates all the tips jars in the same group with the values from this tip jar

- Reset All - sets all the tip jars in the same group to 0 amount donated and clears maximum donated

- Hide/Show Text - hides or shows the floating text above the tip jar

- Notify/No Notify - determines whether or not to notify the owner of the tip jar when a tip is given

- Update Name - updates all tip jars in the same group with the name of the this tip jar

- Last/No Last - determines whether or not the tip jars in this group will show the last donation

- Max/No Max - determines whether or not the tip jars in this group will show the maximum donation

- Name/No Name - determines whether or not the tip jars in this group will show the name of the donner
