This tachometer can be used with any car scripts in SL, but it works best while being used with scripts that send RPM/RPS data, or use texture rotation to animate an existing RPM needle. But ether way if you buy this product, there will be an option for you, and if there is not, I will add one.

This tachometer has 3 different modes, these are.
D2
This will work with the popular D2 drifting scripts.
RRead
This stands for Remote Read, that means it will read and use an existing texture based RPM needle.
Best Guess
This will work for any physical vehicle, its not accurate as it only estimates where your RPM's would be, but is impressively effective.
Setup is very easy, you simply need to link it to your vehicle (note that this item is in 2 parts), set the mode type, configure the needle and shift light offsets to your preference.
Note: Not all vehicles will switch the tachometer on and off automatically, so you will be required to click the tachometers face to turn it on, in this case it will also automatically turn itself off after being inactive for two minutes.
Fitting might not be perfect, so to avoid disappointment, test out the fitting compatibility by using the no mod, unscripted fitting demo to get a basic idea of how it will look.
Fitting this tachometer onto your car might mean that you have to 'alpha hide' some of the parts or build some mounting brackets with prims, it might also mean that you have to accept some small visual imperfections.
