im a huge quake fan myself, i love the dark and evil ambience from the game, its just pure awesome in every way! which is why i decided to re-make lot of quake-stuff so people in SL can have their own piece of quake here in SL ^^
this is the lasergun from mission-pack1 of quake, its an exact replica of the weapongun in detail.
its scripted so you can actually use it, and its made to works exactly like the original does. it alternately fires single and dual-blasts just like in-game, and it fires them in rapid succession, and the blasts occasionally bounce off of walls and such just like in-game :D
the lights on side of the weapon also blink in sequence, which i thought was a nice idea
also included is a'pick-up' version of the weapon, which can be rezzed and itll will slowly hover up and down and rotate, just like the pick-up of the weapon does in the game. the pick-up is 94prims though, cuz its the same model as the worn version. this pick-up is not scripted to be used as weapon and is merely a nice visual prop. wearing the pick-up version of the weapons will give weird effects cuz of the hover-script.
i hope you enjoy this weapon just as much as i enjoyed making it ;)
