Socks are not rigged and modifiable, so you can resize or reposition when they are worn.
More you can color of the white version using default colors.

I bought these socks mostly out of curiosity. I wanted to see if it was just the alpha that needed to be replaced. I have found this was the case. I bought free alphas for the feet (Lindaline Shoemask ) and used 02. I am a small avatar so you may need to use another number. I think they look great, just as the photo depicts. Maybe the creator would consider putting a few more alphas with these socks. They are also resizable so it is possible to make them work as need with a little bit of effort.
These seem great but ...
... they are not good if you are wearing shoes. Oh, don't get me wrong, I am not condemning the designer. I looked at my avatar AFTER I bought the socks and realized that, no matter how hard I tried, they would NOT work with shoes. Look at your avatar and you will see that her ankles stick out wider than her shoe top - I have a small ... 5' 1" and proportionately (realistically) built ... avatar but I am assuming that the shape of the ankle is going to be constant regardless of height and build. This means that her ankles will stick through the sock, or the sock will have to be larger than the shoe top, or you will have to wear oversized shoes. I really have NO idea where LL gets their idea of body shapes from ... it seems they worked pretty hard from the head down to the calf but decided to give us 'bony' wrists and ankles. These socks will probably work great with ankle boots (I haven't tried that yet) with a little resizing ... just don't expect them to fit your shoes. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars because the white is more of a light-gray (and yes, I know there is an ultra white for recoloring but ...) and I feel that the designer could have mentioned the shoe/ankle issue.
