Thanks to the wonders of the Modern age, we present to you a work of magic and mystery & unique in SL, the Steampunk Nixie Jewellery Set, Made from Brass and Steel and using the retro-futuristic Nixie tube, this jewellery actually tells the time, that's right Ladies and Gentlemen, your friends will always know what time of day it is by just looking at your jewellery!

Q: How pray does a single Nixie tube tell the time?
A: By the miracle of modern science the tube cycles through the time digits at 2 second intervals. H, pause, H, pause, M, pause, M, pause. Each stage is indicated by a corresponding green light telling you where in the sequence the clock is.

Q: What time does it show?
A: Default is SL, but it can be anywhere, even estate time ((should your sim have a LL day/night cycle).

The jewellery is mod/copy so you can adjust the components individually. DON'T PANIC the chain is a single mesh, so will scale uniformly, you don't have to move 60 individual prims :-)

A single click on the body will briefly show the current date and time above the clock.

To adjust the clock to suit your time zone requires a prolonged click on the body, you will be prompted to release the mouse after 3 seconds.

The main menu has the following options: "Set Clock", "MM/DD/YYYY" & "Done"

"Set Clock" Has the following options: "Base Time", "Offset" & "Done"

"Base Time" Is used to set the Base Time used by the clock and has the following options:

"GMT/BST" Sets the time base to Greenwich Mean Time and automatically adjusts for British Summer Time.
"PDT/PST/SL" Sets the time base to Pacific Daylight Time or Second Life Time and automatically adjusts for Pacific Summer Time.
"REGION/SLD" Sets the clock Region or Second Life Daytime - a non-linear time based on the position of the SL sun
"Done" Returns you to the "Set Clock" Menu.

"Offset" is used to set the offset from base time and has the following options:

"+1" Increments the offset by 1 hour
"-1" Reduces the offset by 1 hour
"+2" Increments the offset by 2 hours
"-2" Reduces the offset by 2 hours
"+10" Increments the offset by 10 hours
"-10" Reduces the offset by 10 hours
"Done" Returns you to the "Set Clock" Menu.

"Done" Returns you to the "Main" Menu.

"MM/DD/YYYY" or "DD/MM/YYYY" Toggles between date formats for the hover text.
