When I was having problems setting up my coffin the owner was quick to reply to my request for help. Now my coffin sits proudly in my secret chamber.
You have to position the coffin how you like it, than take the whole thing back into your inventory, than rerezz it where you want it. It will remember its old position plus the door scripts will reset so the door will line up when you open and close it.
