Perfect!
Once you get the hang of it, then it works like a charm!
Good tool, flexible, well thought out, and well written.
I bought this Texture Changer script to integrate it into products that I make and sell, in which I wanted to offer texture choices on different parts, and this script fulfilled my needs.
- So far i have scripted a product that offers 104 textures, applied on two different parts of the build, and the script handles this amount of data very well.
- The menu and textures application is fast even with a long list of textures.
- If you need to texture several parts of an object in a single click, it is possible by writing a new line for each part to be textured, but using the same tree of button names for each line, which produces a single button, for several faces and/or effects applied at the same time.
- The fact we can choose which prim(s), root or child, will trigger the menu was very important to me.
- This means as well that this script works with a linkset of several prims, each line can support one or several numbers of prim numbers, plus one or several faces numbers.
-The menu and prefab buttons [Back, Next, Up Menu, Close] are customizable.
- About customer service, i asked twice for help from the creator, who always answered me quite quickly, and quite efficiently. The only two points I regret is that the creator's support group is not free, and that the scripts labels are a little too self-promotion turned.
I'm probably forgetting other points and some features that I haven't explored yet, but overall it's a very good tool, flexible, all-terrain, well thought out, and well written.
