Eclectica Curiosities 50s Living Room

Thankyou for your purchase!

This item is copy and mod friendly, (possibly excluding some scripts). It is original mesh, unique to Eclectica, made with love by Tiffy Vella, who adores old vintagey stuff , 3D modeling and texturing.

Please always edit a copy of your item. Keep a master version in your inventory. I will happily send you a new version if you bork one up, but only if you are very, very nice.* Also, there is now a redelivery kiosk in the mainstore foyer.

This is a telephone table that you can use to decorate a typical mid to late 50's living room or hallway. It could possibly pass into the 60's depending upon what continent you are from. I looked at as many phones as I could from the era, and picked a style and went for it.

The table is copy and modify, but will appear no-mod when inspected due to some scripts being no-mod. You can still edit it and manually change the prim parameters.

The upholstery is scripted to texturechange, allowing you to choose from 9 options. Just touch the seat for a drop down menu. There are 3 leather options, as well as 6 tufty nylonny ones which match the other furniture fabrics from the Eclectica range.

The timber is a palish blondewood, and may be easily darkened with a light tint from the edit menu if you would like it to be richer in hue.

The phone will ring briefly if you touch the dial (I didn't want the sound to get too annoying as that is a bit of rp that nobody wants). If, for any reason, you would like to remove this feature, you can unlink the transparent prim covering the dial and toss it. This will not affect the functioning of the rest.

All scripts may be removed if needed (or just the texurechange ones), but please save a master version in your inventory if doing so. You will not want to lose them permanently from every version.

Some of the poses are just sits, and some are poses for talking on the phone. These will attach a receiver to your hand, and will mosy likely ask you permission to do this the first time. The permission box may be hidden behind other menus on the top right of your screen, so be careful to look for it if no receiver appears.

The "talking on the phone" poses all have a cord or no-cord version. This is because it is impossible for me to join the receiver cord to the phone while your avatar is animated. The no-cord version is tidier, and the cord version is included for closeup photography as the cord is a nice detail.

I have scaled the items to suit an average-sized avatar. You can resize them to make them larger, but please know that the land impact may change as a result. If you need to make the table extremely larger, the rezzed props may seem too small if you are a very large avatar. It is possible to enlarge each receiver (the 6 "handset" objects) in the contents to your size and replace them in the contents of the table. If you do this, do not rename them. If this completely stumps you, IM me.

If you need assistance, please contact me (Tiffy Vella) via IM, as I may be able to help you even when not inworld. I do not mind questions, and would rather the opportunity to help if there is any issue.

All the best, and please enjoy using my designs to make your sl environment a little more immersive and expressive. :)
