Eclectica Mechanika Glasses (old gold)

Quality vintage mesh accessories, virtually handcrafted with love. All pieces are copyable and modifiable.

'Mechanika' is a pair of steampunk "goggles" that I initially wanted to call "glasses" but they are a bit more than that. They are biological inserts that do.....things...maybe...who knows what as I certainly don't. They reveal churning cogs inside the eye cavity, and have a subtle blinky effect so something electrical must be happening too.

The scripts are manually deletable (take a copy first) and the glasses/goggley things have a land impact of 4 prims each, making them very kind to the virtual environment.

These pieces use specular and normal mapping on some surfaces. To see them at their best, use the latest official viewer, and in graphics preferences, check "Advanced Lighting Model".

There are two goggley things in the pack; mirrored for the left and the right side. This way, you can choose the one that best suits your hairstyle/general vibe.

The goggles fit to your nose attachment point, and are unrigged, so that you can adjust the position and size using the edit menu. They must be worn with an "Eclectica 'Mechanika' Glasses eyes-b-gone" alpha layer to hide your eyeballs, plus an "Eclectica 'Mechanika' Glasses alpha- (right or left)" to make the glasses sit inside your eye socket as shown.

If the alpha needs adjusting, I am very happy to supply the layered PSD file for tweaking. IM me with your email and I shall send the file to you.

A pair of mesh eyeballs is included to replace the missing one. If you try the demo, you will see what I mean.

I have left the rotation scripts used in the cogs as full perm (as they should be in this case), so you can alter the speed if you like to do such things.

There is a tiny blinky particle effect coming from the glass vial on the side. (Goodness knows what it does, but it must be something amazing!) You can chat command it on and off using these commands in local chat "/1 on" and "/1 off". This script is from the Particle Lab, and so is full perm, and so of course you may also customise it.

These are also copy/mod friendly, so you are able to tint the items a little to help with colour matching. Tinting mesh is a little different to tinting prims, as each object behaves as one prim. So instead of editing linked prims, you will need to use the "Select Face" button to choose the part you'd like to tint.
