Eclectica Victoriana Texturechanging Shoes-violet

These shoes are designed to fit the Slink Womens Medium Feet. When you wear the Slink feet, please add (rather than wear) the Eclectica shoes, so that the shoes don't displace the feet. Slink feet are necessarily rigged, and hence are available in standard sizing. Eclectica shoes to fit Slink are unrigged, and so are one size. They will fit a medium standard rigged size. You can then use the edit menu to resize if needed.

You can wear these shoes with plain system feet if you like, but the effect is not as attractive. I have included a shoebase and alpha layer to help you if you prefer to wear only system feet. Don't wear these two items if you have the Slink feet on, as Slink provides all necessary bases and layers for the mesh feet. Please try a demo to see if this works for you.

Eclectica Victoriana Texturechanging Shoes are a Victorian styled parlour shoe, designed for indoor wear. They are richly textured with soft fabric, and have decorative piping and buttons. The heel has a typical graceful arch which will suit Gothic, Victorian and Georgian costumes.

These shoes have a single removable script, and have a land impact of 5 prims each, making them very kind to the virtual environment.

The decorative details can be texturechanged via the script. The buttons, piping, ruffles and heels can be changed independently, and all have 8 choices each (as shown on the vendor). They can either match or contrast with the main body of the shoe. Each section can also be manually edited, if you wish to adjust tint, glow or shininess. Tinting mesh is a little different to tinting prims, as each object behaves as one prim. So instead of editing linked prims, you will need to use the "Select Face" button to choose the part you'd like to tint. The separate faces are; upper, sole, heel, ruffles, piping and buttons.

I have used specular and normal mapping on the surfaces to give a little more depth to the texture and shine. In your graphics preferences, please turn on "advanced lighting model" to see this.

These shoes will scale down to fit a petite avatar. You may make adjustments manually with the edit menu, or via the scripted drop down menu.
