The hidden knowledge the written word can hide is beyond measure, and the tomes that hold these secrets are innumerable. This is one such tome, with it's own untold secrets, yours and yours alone to know.
Whatever the contents on it's forbidden pages, they are yours to clutch in your arm, keep slung over your back, or hanging at the ready from your hip.

Too big
And another tome that's simply too big for smaller characters. The hip version looks out of place when worn on a belt, at least on my smaller sorceress. No way to make it smaller than the original, at least none I've found.
Best I've found
I really like it, the texture changer is a nice touch. The mesh for the strap fits well, and it's a generally cool mesh. The animations are nice and set correctly to use with an AO. Really happy with this.
LI heavy when rezzed
I was looking for a book on a pedestal to have rezzed for roleplay. Was taken aback that it's 15 LI with it's pedestal.
Great, but some things you can't tell in the pictures:
First off, this is without a doubt my favorite tome, book or Grimoire in all of the SLM. The textures are wonderful and it just looks powerful. It's easy to mod to the right size you want it, too. I wish it included an opened version, but that's just me nitpicking and it's not a huge deal, I knew it did not have such a feature before I purchased it.
However, I wanted to remove the locks and the chains. To my displeasure and an audible groan, when I had done so, it revealed that there are "shadows" in the texture made to fit the chains. It rendered a chainless book horrifically ugly and just impossible with this specific product.
Ultimately, I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars because, while I love the product very much, it is by no means modifiable outside of resizing the book's shape, fitting the strap to your character, or tinting/retexturing the individual parts that make up the product. For 249L, it's an absolute steal. I recommend this product while hoping for an update.
Exactly what I needed!
I was looking for something for a less-than-holy nun character, and this was PERFECT. I'll be using it again for my more serious RP personas for sure.
